If a limited company is struck off, it is removed from the Companies House register and legally closed. The company can no longer trade or carry out business activities. Its bank accounts are frozen, and any remaining assets become property of the Crown. Directors and shareholders lose control of the company. If the strike-off was done incorrectly or with unpaid debts, legal action may follow, and the company can be restored by court order.
