Salary and dividends

The aim is to take enough salary to protect your State Pension record, then dividends within lower tax bands. The exact figure depends on your other income, so we model it for your situation instead of quoting a generic number.

Employer pension contributions

Contributions paid by the company are generally deductible for Corporation Tax and are not subject to employer National Insurance, subject to annual allowance limits. They are often the most efficient way to extract profit.

Capital allowances and timing

The Annual Investment Allowance gives 100% relief on qualifying plant and machinery up to £1 million, and full expensing offers 100% first-year relief for eligible new equipment. Buying before your year end, not after, brings relief forward.

What we will not do

We do not promote avoidance schemes or aggressive structures. All planning is within the rules and documented, so you are comfortable if HMRC ever asks.
