Dormant for Companies House versus HMRC
The two bodies use different tests. A company can be dormant for Companies House but still need to file a CT600 if it received interest or has other taxable income. We check both.
When to close instead
If you no longer need the company, striking it off can be cheaper than filing dormant accounts every year. We advise on both routes.
